info

I'm a Social Sciences faculty member at Kirkwood Community College, and I hold a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology from the University of Iowa.  My main research and design interests are in the design of games and simulations for informal and workplace learning environments, as well open learning systems.  As faculty, I currently teach educational psychology, introductory psychology, and developmental psychology, while also leading honors student research projects.

  • Coordinate industry-sponsored and investigator-driven clinical research

  • Conduct data analysis and subject recruitment.

  • Conduct study visits in the ICTS Clinical Research Unit and various hospital clinics/units.

  • Work with investigators and IRBs for study regulatory purposes.
